Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment! We start early, you are required to arrive at 6:45 am Monday thru Friday. Hours are as follows Monday thru Thursday 6:45am to 4:30pm and Fridays 6:45am to 12pm. NO WEEKENDS! In this role, you will support dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of daily dental practice activities. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a comfortable experience for every patient while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during endodontic procedures ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection prevention protocols.
• Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging equipment while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring all documentation complies with clinical confidentiality policies.
• Perform chairside assisting duties with proficiency in dental terminology, four-handed dentistry techniques, and aseptic technique to promote efficient workflow.
• Monitor vital signs and assist in patient management before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain dental equipment including sterilization procedures for dental instruments and ensuring infection control standards are consistently met.
• Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow with excellent customer service skills, and handling medical documentation with precision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic environment.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment operation, and infection prevention management.
• Certification in dental x-ray technology; additional certifications in oral surgery or endodontics are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, clinical confidentiality policies, and healthcare infection control practices.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients about treatment procedures effectively.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
