Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures in accordance with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies
• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of treatments including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing four-handed dentistry support to improve efficiency
• Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans utilizing advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental assisting techniques, dental terminology, and dental equipment operation
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages including pediatrics; compassionate patient management skills are essential

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
