Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant will work alongside the dentist and clinical team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care while ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient procedures.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental treatments.
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral images (as permitted by state regulations).
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Record patient medical histories and treatment notes.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care information.
• Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Manage clinical supplies and inventory.
• Support the front office as needed with scheduling and patient communication.
• Deliver compassionate, professional care to every patient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Current X-ray certification.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented.
