Dental Assistant

Overview

We are urgently seeking 1 full time Dental Assistant . This is a great opportunity to join our friendly and helpful team. Part time will be considered for the right candidates. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and supporting their dental family in delivering quality services.

Duties

• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Prepare patients for dental procedures and treatments
• Take dental x-rays and intra oral camera pictures
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and or other software as needed
• Ensure equipment is properly sterilized
• Provide chairside assistance utilizing knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
• Perform dental receptionist duties when asked
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
• Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus
• Knowledge of medical records management in a dental setting is beneficial
• Understanding of dental terminology and anatomy is desirable
• Certification in infection control practices is a bonus
• Billingual in Spanish is a must
• No drama office that requires no drama

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
