Dental Assistant

Overview

We are a private well-established general office located in Irvine looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Back Office Assistant who plays a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients at OC Smile Dental.

Primary responsibilities as a Back DA:

• Greet and prepare patients for care
• Take Digital X-rays
• Perform Prophylaxis
• Assist the doctor during various dental procedures
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Sterilize instruments per OSHA guidelines
• Set up procedures
• Breakdown and disinfect treatment rooms
• Clean the office as instructed

Skill:

• Dental Assistant Certified a must
• Proficiency in Digital X-rays and Prophylaxis required
• Proficiency in Dentrix a plus
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of aspic techniques to ensure a sterile environment

Compensation is competitive with benefits and based on prior experience.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
