Dental Assistant

Job Summary

Our dental office is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team! We’re looking for someone who is a team player, has a positive attitude, and is passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

* Assisting the doctor during dental procedures

* Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms

* Taking dental X-rays

* Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory

* Helping patients feel comfortable and welcome

* Working together with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

* Previous dental assisting experience preferred

* Dental X-ray certification preferred

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Professional, punctual, and dependable

* Manage patient records using Dentrix ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience

• Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting with exposure to general dentistry procedures is preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding practices related to dental records is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic technique is essential
• Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies ensures safe clinical practices at all times

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
