Dental Assistant

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Willing to train the right individual
• Strong attention to detail (required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work M-Th
• Taking digital X-rays and CB/CT scans
• Preparing patients for treatment and assists doctor during treatment
• Answer phone calls - patients and referring offices
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control in office
• Clean and stocking treatment rooms - Control Inventory of clinical supplies
• Clinical notes and treatment documentation in software system
• Project an image of the highest quality in dental care services and personal dedication to the profession
• Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist
• Promote continuity of patient care through clear communication and harmonious working relationships
• Be personally accountable for communicating with co-workers in a courteous manner at all times

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work at a fast pace environment and be self-motivated

Ability to maintain outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and staff under pressure

OSHA – Sterilization knowledge (preferred)

Registered Dental Assistant- Not required
