At Castro Valley Advantage Dental, we’re growing—and we’re looking for a Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who enjoys helping patients, takes pride in their work, and is excited to learn.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Our team provides everything from crowns and fillings to root canals, oral surgery, implants, and Invisalign. You’ll have opportunities to develop your skills across a wide range of procedures while working with technology that includes intraoral scanners, 3D printers, and in-office milling.

What you’ll do

• Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures, within your qualifications and permitted duties.
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for appointments.
• Follow infection-control protocols and support sterilization.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and take dental X-rays when qualified.
• Help keep rooms stocked, organized, and ready.
• Coordinate with doctors, hygienists, and the front office to keep patient care running smoothly.

Must-have qualities

• Dependability and availability to work the posted schedule.
• Respectful communication with patients and teammates.
• Willingness to follow office systems, receive feedback, and learn new skills.
• Ownership of your work and consistent follow-through.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Nice-to-have experience

• Experience assisting with implants, oral surgery, root canals, or other procedures we provide.
• Familiarity with intraoral scanners or digital dental workflows.
• Experience using Open Dental.
• RDA licensure; DA applicants are also welcome.

You don’t need experience with every procedure or system listed. We value humility, initiative, and a willingness to grow.
