Dental Assistant – General Dentistry

Pay: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry practice in Glendale, Colorado. We welcome both experienced dental assistants and entry-level candidates who are eager to learn, grow, and provide excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help patients feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations, restorative procedures, and other dental treatments.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and dental equipment.
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control and OSHA safety protocols.
• Take dental X-rays when appropriately trained and authorized.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene education as directed.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment.
• Monitor dental supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and front office team to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Dental assisting certification, radiography credentials, and other qualifications as required by applicable Colorado regulations.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control practices is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a patient-first approach.
