Dental Assistant Trainee

Mayani Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant Trainee.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.
• Support patient care by taking vital signs, medical documentation, and medical records while maintaining strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and dental x-ray devices safely and accurately to produce high-quality medical imaging.
• Perform dental instrument processing tasks including sterilization procedures to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Support chairside assisting and maintaining a clean work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare environment is preferred but not required! training will be provided!
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate medical records and delivering excellent patient care.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
