Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one Dental Assistant tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s needs and learning style
• Develop customized lesson plans that focus on Dental Assistant sections such as logical reasoning, analytical reasoning (logic games), and reading comprehension
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to maximize improvement
• Provide clear explanations of complex concepts, fostering understanding and confidence
• Prepare students for test day by sharing effective strategies, time management techniques, and practice exercises
• Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and areas for further development
• Foster a positive, motivating learning environment that encourages active participation and growth

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in standardized test preparation or related academic subjects
• Strong understanding of Dental Assistant content, question types, and test strategies
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
• Classroom experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse learning styles
• Passion for helping students succeed and a proactive approach to instruction
• Ability to motivate students while providing constructive feedback in a supportive manner
