Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist /Assistant to join our team in a dynamic dental clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy, as well as familiarity with general dentistry practices.

Duties

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Handle billing and insurance claims, including verification of benefits.
• Assist dental staff during procedures as needed, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Manage phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and patient waiting room.
• Coordinate medical imaging appointments and ensure proper documentation is completed.

Skills

• Proficient in assisting with various dental procedures and understanding of four-handed dentistry.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy.
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices, including handling children in a clinical setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.67 - $25.00 per hour
