Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Duties: Seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist for both Practice locations.

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient insurance information and update patient records
• Collect and process payments for dental services
• Must be able to verify carrier information and review with patients their benefits. - Assist with billing and insurance claims
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using computer systems and dental software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and professional demeanor

Dental Assistant

Job duties include:
Setting up and disinfecting operatory rooms
Sterilizing instruments
Assisting the dentist with patients
Answering phone calls as needed
Taking X-rays if licensed
