Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and personable Dental Assistant with reception experience to join our team. This is a dual-role position requiring both clinical support and front desk responsibilities as a back-up to our existing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Assisting the dentist when needed, Sterilization as well as front desk duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental X-rays
• Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
• Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out
• Process payments and insurance claims as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (Level II preferred)
• HARP Certified
• Previous dental reception or administrative experience
• Familiarity with dental software, ABELDent
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience with insurance billing
• Knowledge of recall systems and treatment coordination

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
