Dental Biller

Spring Valley Dental Care is looking for an experienced and dependable Dental Biller to join our team. We are seeking someone who has strong knowledge of PPO and Denti-Cal insurance billing and understands the dental insurance process from claim submission through payment and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process and follow up on PPO and Denti-Cal claims.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits when needed.
• Review EOBs and accurately post insurance payments and adjustments.
• Follow up on outstanding, denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
• Work insurance aging reports and outstanding accounts.
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, narratives, X-rays, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, benefits, and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate patient accounts and insurance information.
• Identify billing discrepancies and work toward resolution.
• Assist with patient billing questions and account balances.
• Work closely with the front office and clinical team to resolve insurance and billing issues.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous dental billing experience required.
• Strong experience with PPO insurance billing required.
• Denti-Cal experience required or strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and CDT codes.
• Experience with insurance verification, claims, EOBs, denials, appeals, and follow-up.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Dentix software is a Must

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in dental insurance billing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with insurance companies, following up on claims, and taking ownership of outstanding accounts.
