Dental Front Desk Coordinator - Deschutes River Dentistry (Tumwater, WA)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

Compensation: $20–$29/hour DOE

Deschutes River Dentistry in Tumwater, WA is seeking an experienced, organized, and patient-focused Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team! What You'll Do as Our Dental Front Desk Coordinator:

• Manage a busy schedule and coordinate appointments for general dentistry procedures
• Present treatment plans
• Verify insurance benefits efficiently
• Handle high call volumes with grace while multitasking across daily office needs
• Request and collect patient payments with confidence and professionalism
• Audit patient charts and support accurate documentation
• Work collaboratively with a team that values communication, reliability, and positivity

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 1 year of dental front desk experience, insurance, or front office experience required
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance, check in/out process and collecting payments
• Experience with practice management software; Dentrix Ascend
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
• Professional and confident when discussing treatment recommendations and financial arrangements with patients
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
