Dental Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with patients, communicates professionally, and can confidently manage the daily responsibilities of a busy dental office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments
• Manage patient check-in and check-out
• Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
• Review treatment plans, fees, and financial arrangements with patients
• Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims and predeterminations
• Collect patient payments and maintain accurate account information
• Coordinate treatment appointments and help maintain an efficient schedule
• Send appointment reminders and follow up on overdue treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with doctors, dental assistants, hygienists, and patients
• Handle patient questions and concerns professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office

Qualifications

• Previous dental front-office experience preferred
• Experience with Open Dental preferred
• Knowledge of dental insurance, PPO plans, claims, EOBs, and treatment coordination
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy dental environment
• Professional, positive, dependable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable discussing treatment and financial arrangements with patients

Pay: $22.00 - $31.85 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
