Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Implantologist to join our team one Thursday per month.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dental implant procedures, surgical planning and advanced digital workflows. You will be responsible for assessing patients, planning and carrying out implant treatments, and delivering excellent patient care throughout the treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ suitability for dental implants.
• Develop detailed treatment plans using digital planning tools where appropriate.
• Carry out implant placement procedures with precision and in accordance with appropriate safety protocols.
• Use CBCT imaging to support diagnosis and surgical planning.
• Collaborate with restorative dentists and other clinicians to coordinate implant-supported restorations.
• Maintain current knowledge of developments in implant dentistry, including digital workflows and biomaterials.
• Explain treatment options, procedures, expected outcomes and post-operative care to patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and high standards of patient care.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current GDC registration.
• At least four years’ experience in implant placement.
• Experience using the Osstem implant system is preferred, but we are open to discussing the use of an alternative system
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to implant surgery.
• Experience using CBCT imaging and digital treatment planning tools.
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Additional qualifications in implant dentistry, oral surgery or prosthodontics would be advantageous.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time position working one Thursday per month, with the specific Thursday agreed mutually.
