What they need

Dental Insurance Coordinator / Scheduling Coordinator

Full-Time | Busy, Patient-Centered Dental Practice

Do you have a heart for helping people and a passion for making a difference?

We are a busy, growing general dental practice that believes oral health is an essential part of whole-body health. Our approach to dentistry goes beyond teeth and gums to include airway health, breathing, and the important connection between oral health and overall wellness.

We are looking for a loving, kind, compassionate, and organized Dental Insurance Coordinator / Scheduling Coordinator who enjoys helping patients, supporting a team, and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of dental insurance, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help patients navigate their dental care with confidence and peace of mind.

What You’ll Do

  • Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, limitations, and coverage.
  • Submit insurance claims, review explanations of benefits (EOBs), and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Help patients understand their dental insurance benefits, estimated out-of-pocket costs, and financial responsibilities.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim questions and coverage issues.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, manage appointment changes, and help maintain an efficient schedule in a busy practice.
  • Communicate with patients about appointments, treatment needs, and scheduling opportunities.
  • Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to support a smooth patient experience.
  • Help create a welcoming, compassionate, and organized environment where patients feel valued and cared for.
  • Support our practice's mission of promoting oral health as part of total-body wellness, including airway health.

What We’re Looking For

  • Dental insurance knowledge and experience
  • A warm, caring, and positive personality with a genuine love for helping people.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability, professionalism, and a strong team-oriented attitude.
  • Comfort using computers and learning dental practice management software.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a practice that values comprehensive, whole-body health.

Experience with Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix Ascend is a plus, but not required. We welcome candidates with strong dental insurance experience who are eager to learn our systems and become part of our team.

Why Join Our Practice?

  • Be part of a busy, dynamic dental practice with a purpose beyond routine dentistry.
  • Work with a team that values kindness, compassion, and meaningful patient relationships.
  • Help patients better understand and navigate their dental benefits.
  • Contribute to a practice that recognizes the connection between oral health, airway health, and overall wellness.
  • Join a team that values personal growth, collaboration, and excellent patient care.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

We are looking for someone who understands that great patient care starts with genuine human connection. You are the kind of person who greets patients with a smile, treats people with patience and respect, takes pride in getting the details right, and enjoys helping a busy office run smoothly.

If you have dental insurance knowledge, a caring heart, and a desire to be part of a practice that sees the bigger picture of health, we would love to hear from you!
