Dental Nurse

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Nurse/Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly team at our well-established dental practice located in Bridge of Don Area. This position offers the opportunity to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, providing comprehensive dental care to our valued patients.

Duties include:

• Assisting the dental team during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
• Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and materials to ensure they are sterile and ready for use.
• Providing chairside support to dentists and hygienists during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
• Processing dental radiographs (X-rays) as per the dentist's instructions.
• Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming clinical environment.
• Recording and maintaining accurate patient dental records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
• Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing billing and payments.
• Providing positive and friendly atmosphere for patients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• For Qualified Dental Nurse: Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• For Trainee Dental Nurse: Enthusiastic individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Dental Nurse are encouraged to apply. Full training will be provided, although previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a friendly relationship with patients and to work effectively within a team.

Competitive salary depending on the experience .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

• Aberdeen AB22 8UR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
• Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Valid GDC registration (preferred)
