Dental Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse (with experience in Malaysia or Singapore) to join our dental team in our Singapore Precious Medical Center entity. The role involves providing chairside assistance to our dental surgeons, maintaining strict infection control standards, supporting patient care, and contributing to the smooth daily operations of the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a full range of dental procedures (general dentistry, cosmetic, implants, oral surgery, etc.)
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before each patient
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols and clinic standards
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear, reassuring communication throughout treatment
• Assist with taking and processing dental radiographs (where qualified/permitted)
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Manage clinical stock, inventory, and ordering of dental supplies
• Support reception/front-desk duties when required (patient registration, appointments, basic enquiries)
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dental operatories and clinic premises

About you

• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Dental Nursing / Dental Assisting (preferred)
• Prior experience as a Dental Nurse or Dental Surgery Assistant in a clinical setting (Singapore work experience is an added advantage)
• Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilisation procedures, and dental instruments
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Patient-oriented, professional, and able to work well in a team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Willing to work clinic operating hours (typically Monday–Friday and Saturday mornings; exact roster to be confirmed)
• Willing and Eligible to work in Singapore (candidates who can obtain the necessary work pass; company shall assist with Work Permit/Employment Pass or S Pass application for suitable Malaysian candidates)
