Night and Day Emergency Dentist is a growing and busy private dental practice based in Bournemouth, providing high-quality dental care seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.

We specialise primarily in emergency dentistry while also offering general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, restorative dentistry, implants and other private dental services.

Due to our continued growth and increasing patient demand, we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Dental Nurses to join our friendly and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during emergency, general and cosmetic dental procedures.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to a high clinical standard.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised and maintained in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients, particularly those experiencing dental pain or anxiety.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and assist with administrative duties where required.
• Follow all relevant health and safety, safeguarding and infection prevention procedures.
• Work closely with dentists, receptionists and other team members to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
• Deliver excellent patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.

Requirements

• Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration.
• Trainee Dental Nurses currently enrolled on a recognised training programme may also be considered.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional and patient-focused approach.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively in a busy clinical environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in private or emergency dentistry is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Working Hours

Our practice operates seven days a week, offering both weekday and weekend working opportunities.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can commit to regular fixed shifts, although flexible working arrangements can also be discussed.

Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.
