About the Role: Casa Smiles is looking for a passionate and caring Pediatric Assistant to join our team in Hialeah, FL! Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures and examinations
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed
• Help manage patient comfort and anxiety, especially with young or nervous children
• Record patient information, treatment notes, and medical histories accurately
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with front office coordination as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a dental assistant, pediatric assistant, or in a clinical dental setting preferred
• Dental radiography (X-ray) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred for this Hialeah, FL location
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with children of all ages
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
