Dental Reception

About the role

Manurewa Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and professional receptionist to join our friendly team in Manurewa, Auckland. We are an established Practice and require an experienced dental receptionist with exceptional organisational skills and great communication abilities with a warm and caring manner. You will be required to provide excellent customer service that will directly contribute to the success of our dental practice and patient satisfaction. Work hours will be as follows: Monday 8.30am to 6.00pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner upon their arrival at the practice
• Managing patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming and rescheduling as needed
• Processing patient information and maintaining accurate and confidential dental records
• Handling patient billing and payment processing, including managing invoices and insurance claims
• Handling patient enquiries via phone, email and in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Assisting with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry and correspondence

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a dental reception or similar healthcare reception environment is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse patients
• Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple appointments and administrative tasks
• Proficient in using the dental practice management software (Exact Dental Software) would be helpful.
