Dental Receptionist – Edinburgh

We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Dental Receptionist to join a growing dental practice in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate will have previous dental experience, excellent communication skills and confidence using social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and managing reception
• Answering calls, emails and patient enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments
• Following up recalls and treatment appointments
• Taking payments and completing general administration
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the dental team with day-to-day reception duties
• Assisting with social media content, promotions and patient engagement

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a dental practice
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Social media experience or a good understanding of Instagram and Facebook
• Good computer and administrative skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to work well within a team

Experience using dental practice management software would be an advantage.
