Dental Receptionist

About us

Comely Bank Dental is a friendly private dental practice in Edinburgh with modern equipment and a close-knit team. We're looking for an experienced dental receptionist to be the first person our patients meet. This role has opened up because a long-standing member of our reception team is retiring.

What you'll do

• Welcome patients in person and on the phone
• Book, move and confirm appointments
• Take payments and explain treatment costs and payment options
• Keep patient records up to date and handle enquiries by email
• Support the clinical team so the day runs smoothly

What we're looking for

• Experience as a receptionist in a dental practice (essential)
• A warm, professional manner with patients
• Good organisation and confidence using practice software
