Duties

• Scheduling patients to meet production

• Assisting with insurance verification

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office

• Answer incoming phone calls

• Maintain and update patient records using Dentrix software

• Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary

• Ensure a clean and organized reception area

Experience

• Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a similar role required

• Proficiency in using Dentrix software

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures and how treatment time is coordinated between doctors and EFDAs

• Knowledge of dental insurance

They should be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service to patients.
