Duties

• Operate CAD/CAM software to design detailed dental restorations based on digital impressions and specifications using Exocad or 3 Shape software
• Prepare and set up milling machines and 3D printers for the fabrication of dental prostheses / digtial models
• Collaborate with dental professionals to interpret digital scans and ensure accurate restorations that meet clinical standards
• Maintain meticulous records of design files, production processes, and quality control checks
• Conduct routine maintenance on CAD/CAM equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to digital design or manufacturing processes
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project timelines, design modifications, and quality expectations

Skills

• Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software applications used in dental technology
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with dentists, lab technicians, and patients when necessary
• Solid organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and materials used in restorative procedures
• Basic IT skills for operating digital equipment and managing digital files efficiently
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and continuously improve technical skills
• GDC registration

Pay: £25,420.00-£26,436.80 per year
