Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them in understanding their treatment plans and financial options.
• Prepare, review, and explain detailed treatment plans using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Coordinate with dental providers to ensure accurate documentation of procedures and recommended treatments.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and communicate benefits or out-of-pocket costs clearly.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with health regulation policies and HIPAA guidelines.
• Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and financial consultations efficiently using patient management software.
• Support medical administrative functions by managing patient records, typing reports, and handling phone inquiries professionally.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies, billing procedures, and EHR/Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and client interactions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and treatment planning.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to health regulation policies.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
