About the role

We are seeking a qualified Dentist to join PMG Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. in Sibu, Sarawak. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients in a professional healthcare setting. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the oral health of our diverse patient base, whilst contributing to the continued success and reputation of our dental practice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including preventive, restorative and cosmetic treatments
• Place fillings, crowns, bridges and other restorative materials
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Sterilise and maintain dental equipment and instruments to the highest standards
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to all relevant dental regulations, infection control protocols and professional standards
• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
• Valid dental licence to practise in Malaysia
• Current registration with the Malaysian Dental Council
• Proven clinical experience in general dentistry
• Strong knowledge of contemporary dental techniques and best practices
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and explain treatment options clearly
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• Proficiency in Malay, English and Mandarin
• Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in restorative, cosmetic or specialist dentistry is advantageous
