Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care
• Diagnose dental conditions through thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical imaging tools
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive dental diagnosis and patient needs
• Conduct specialized procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implants, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery when necessary
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care while fostering a comfortable environment

Requirements

• Valid state dental license with credentials to practice general dentistry in accordance with local healthcare regulations
• Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, dental terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes
• Skilled in performing dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
• Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for patient safety
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients of diverse backgrounds and explain complex procedures in an understandable manner
• Experience with digital dental imaging and medical documentation practices is highly preferred
• Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current on advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
