PrairieStar Health Center, a PCMH Level III facility, is seeking a dentist. Join our

team of providers who have won multiple national awards, including ten Gold

Level Quality Leader Awards, Million Hearts and nine National Quality Leader

Awards.

Position Highlights

Position Responsibilities

• Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient’s health.
• Developing treatment plans to deal with dental health issues.
• Filling cavities, performing root canals, applying crowns and installing bridges.
• Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health.
• Interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care.
• Measuring and fitting dental appliances.
• Completing charting in a timely manner and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements related to the position.
• Maintaining the required number of continuing education hours for national accreditation.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active Kansas dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure upon graduation.
• Active CPR Certification and DEA License (or in the process of obtaining).
• Controlled Substance License (if required by the state).
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.
• Must be mission driven – passionate about improving lives through quality care for all.
