Dentist

Advanced General Dentist – Fort Payne, AL | Step Into a Full Schedule. Practice Comprehensive Dentistry.

Large, productive, doctor-led private practice in northeast Alabama. 18 operatories (15 equipped). 3 general dentists and 5 hygienists already on site. Dentrix. All digital. CBCT on site.

We are hiring a skilled general dentist who wants to practice advanced, comprehensive dentistry — not a limited-scope associate seat, and not a startup book.

You step into a full schedule in a high-capacity rural office that already has the hygiene engine, the rooms, and the patient flow.

The practice

• 18 total operatories / 15 equipped
• 3 GPs and 5 RDHs on site
• Dentrix
• All digital
• CBCT on site
• Advanced comprehensive general dentistry
• Large, established rural patient base — people drive in from across DeKalb County and the Lookout Mountain corridor
• Private practice. Not a 10-chair startup. Not a downtown DSO stack.

Five hygienists in a 15-chair office is the point: restorative demand is already in the building. The hire is here to treat it.

The job Full-time general dentist. You are expected to work at a high clinical level: complex restorative, surgery, endo, implants / implant restorations as your training allows, removable, and the comprehensive treatment plans a rural family practice actually needs. Mentorship and case-sharing with three doctors already in the office.

This is for a dentist who is already comfortable being busy — or a strong, skilled doctor who wants volume and breadth instead of a slow suburban ramp.

Who this is for

• Alabama-licensed (or license in process)
• Skilled, advanced-minded general dentist
• Wants a full schedule on arrival, not six months of holes
• Prefers comprehensive dentistry over “exam and fillings only”
• Comfortable in a multi-doctor, multi-hygiene office
• Open to rural northeast Alabama — lower cost of living, outdoor life, patients who stay with the practice for decades

Who this is not for Doctors who want a 4-op boutique with a light book, or who only want cosmetic smile-design days. This is a large, productive rural practice. The work is real and the days are full.

Why Fort Payne Fort Payne is the county seat of DeKalb County and the gateway to Lookout Mountain — Little River Canyon, DeSoto State Park, and a cost of living well below Birmingham, Huntsville, or Atlanta. Chattanooga is about an hour. Huntsville is roughly 90 minutes. You can own a home, raise a family, and still reach a real airport and a real city.

Rural Alabama is also where a strong GP can still be the dentist: broad scope, loyal patients, and a schedule that stays full because there are not eight DSOs on the same mile.

Compensation Competitive collections-based package for a full rural book. Details reviewed with qualified candidates.
