This is a strong position for a dentist who wants to practice full-scope general dentistry and make a real difference for patients who need it most, especially if you still have school loans you’d like help paying off.

You’ll care for patients of all ages at a community health center that serves a diverse, underserved neighborhood. For many patients, this clinic is the only place they can get affordable dental care.

You’ll work alongside the medical and behavioral health teams under one roof, so you can treat the whole patient, not just the tooth.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday - Friday
• No nights or weekends

What you’ll do:

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry for children and adults, including exams, restorative work, crowns and bridges, dentures, extractions, and anterior endo
• Build treatment plans and focus on prevention and patient education
• Manage dental emergencies and same-day needs
• Lead a supportive team of dental assistants and hygienists
• Refer to and coordinate with specialists and the medical team when needed
• Take part in quality improvement and peer review

Details:

• DDS or DMD with an active New York State dental license
• DEA registration and BLS/CPR certification
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred
• New graduates and GPR/AEGD graduates are welcome to apply
• Eligible site for federal loan repayment programs, such as NHSC
