Department Manager - Procurement (Raw materials dairy/Import OEM)

Job Overview

The Department Manager – Strategic Procurement (Commodity) leads sourcing and procurement activities for imported goods and key raw materials. This role focuses on driving cost efficiency, ensuring product quality and timely delivery, strengthening supplier partnerships, and leading the procurement team to support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies for imported finished goods and key raw materials dairy or OEM.
• Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, and Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Oversee purchasing processes and approve Purchase Orders (POs).
• Lead cost control, price negotiation, and supplier performance management.
• Build strong relationships with strategic and key suppliers.
• Ensure timely delivery with required quality and cost efficiency.
• Monitor procurement status and handle import & customs documentation.
• Prepare monthly reports and present to management.
• Lead and develop the procurement team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement (Commodity / Import FMCG / Food).
• Strong knowledge of import processes and customs clearance.
• Good analytical skills in costing and price comparison.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Professional Good command of English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
