Deployment & Assembly Engineer-Supervisor

Lead on-site deployment of our products end to end plan the dispatch, take a small team to site, assemble the mechanical and electronic systems, power them up.

Role & responsibilities

• Verify assemblies, sub-assemblies, harnesses, fasteners, tools, consumables and spares against the deployment checklist before anything leaves the factory.
• Mechanical assembly at site structures, enclosures, mounts, brackets, fastening, alignment.
• Electronics & wiring mount controllers, PCBs and sub-systems; route and dress harnesses; mate connectors; complete power wiring, battery connections and earthing as per wiring diagrams and colour-code standards.
• Pre-power-on checks polarity, continuity, insulation and tightness verification; AC / DC voltage and current measurement; load check before first power-on.
• Commissioning power-up, functional verification, calibration where applicable, and customer demonstration.
• Team supervise and guide 25 junior engineers and technicians at site; allocate work, enforce safety and quality, and train them on the product.
• Maintain deployment tool kits, instruments.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or allied discipline.
• 4–7 years of hands-on on-site product assembly and deployment experience.
• Mechanical — hand and power tools, drilling, tapping, grinding, fastening and alignment.
• Electronics & electrical — harness routing, crimping, connector pinning, soldering basics, earthing, battery connections.
• Instruments — digital multimeter, clamp meter, bench and portable power supply, insulation tester; comfortable measuring AC and DC voltage and current safely.
• Willing to travel across India.
• Basic MS Excel, email and smartphone use for site reports and photo documentation.
