Technical Deployment Manager – Enterprise QSR Rollout (Hardware + SaaS) | Dallas, TX or US Remote | ~40% Travel

Diver5ify is partnering with a fast-growing, VC-backed safety technology company on a key hire for a flagship US deployment.

Our client builds connected hardware and a cloud platform that help frontline teams stay safe, de-escalate incidents and capture evidence when it matters. They’ve just signed a major rollout with one of the world’s best-known quick-service restaurant brands. They need a Deployment Manager to run the machine that gets the product into restaurants on schedule and keeps it working once it’s there.

The role

You’ll own the rollout schedule, the installation partner, the flow of equipment and the health of the estate in the field. You’re accountable for the overall service level delivered to the customer, and you step in before small problems become missed targets.

What you’ll do

• Run the rollout. Build and own the master deployment plan across the installation partner, the customer and internal teams, covering site readiness, install dates, onboarding slots and sign-off. You keep every party working from one schedule.
• Manage the field partner. Act as the installation partner’s operational counterpart. That covers scope of work, capacity, scorecards, weekly operating reviews, escalation when performance slips, and checking delivery and invoices.
• Own in-life operations. Oversee distribution, returns, replacements, repairs, spares and RMA turnaround so no site is left without working kit.
• Watch the estate. Monitor device uptime, charging, firmware and losses, and act proactively when a site or region slips.
• Get hands-on. Diagnose and resolve issues remotely or on site, pull in support and engineering as needed, and see every resolution through.
• Own the service level. Deliver a regular service review to the customer covering installs, fleet health, support and adoption, and own the actions that come out of it.
• Improve continuously. Find what keeps going wrong in the field and fix the process, the partner brief or the product.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in deployment, field operations or program management on multi-site technology rollouts (QSR, retail, POS, IoT, telecom or similar)
• Experience managing a third-party installation or field service partner against SLAs
• Hands-on logistics experience across inventory, distribution, returns and RMA
• Strong planning and tracking discipline, and comfort building and living in dashboards and schedules
• Calm, firm escalation management with partners and demanding enterprise customers
• Clear written reporting that a customer executive can act on
• Confident, everyday use of AI tools in your workflow. This is expected of everyone in the business.
• Happy on the road and on site (~40% travel)

Bonus points

• Rollouts across hundreds of sites, especially franchised estates
• Hardware lifecycle or reverse logistics experience
• Lean, Six Sigma or similar process-improvement background
