Depositing Operator

JOB TITLE: Process Technician – Depositing Line

DESCRIPTION: The Process Technician operates and supports the depositing production line to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent product manufacturing. This role monitors automated equipment, adjusts process parameters, troubleshoots issues, and performs equipment setup, sanitation, and routine maintenance to maintain product quality and production targets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform equipment changeovers, start-ups, and shutdown procedures according to production schedules
• Operate and monitor production equipment using HMI interfaces and process controls.
• Monitor process parameters and product quality, making real-time adjustments to maintain specifications and throughput targets
• Perform operational adjustments and troubleshoot equipment, instrumentation, and process issues during production
• Replenish raw materials to maintain continuous operation of the production line
• Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues; escalate complex problems to leadership as needed
• Document process parameters, production data, and any deviations from standard operating procedures
• Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas following established sanitation and CIP procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed on the equipment
• Contribute improvement ideas and initiatives

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

Ability to operate production and CIP equipment independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
• 1-2 years’ experience in food processing company preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to stand, twist, bend for long periods of time and occasionally lift up-to 50lbs

REPORTS TO: Lead Process Technician

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
