Deputy Engineer - Safety

• To Conduct shop floor Audits, Identification of Unsafe acts and conditions and work permits.
• Awareness training on safety concepts. (Firefighting training, Safety tool box talks, pep talks)
• Promoting safe practices at site.
• Ensuring daily work permits PPE compliance.
• Knowledge on Fire Safety Equipment operation, maintenance/service. (Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrant and Fire alarm system)
• Conducting periodical Safety committee meetings, work place monitorings, mock drills training. . . etc
• Reporting of near misses, unsafe actions unsafe conditions on regular basis.
• Knowledge on accident investigation.
• Knowledge on ISO 45001 14001 system requirements.
• Knowledge on HSE legal requirements.
• Managing certification audits and system audits including internal and external.
• Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated.
• IT- Skills - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge on monthly HSE reporting (Safety, Environment data).
