Deputy Highway Supervisor

Career on highway maintenance in the Tsing Sa Control Area provides an invaluable opportunity to manage the famous bridges & roads (including the Stonecutters Bridge, Eagle's Nest Tunnel, Sha Tin Heights Tunnel and Nam Wan Tunnel), which need life-long management and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Holder of a Diploma or Higher Certificate in civil engineering from a recognized University or Technical Institute with at least 5 years’ proven experience in construction/inspection/maintenance of structure/bridges/slopes/roadworks. Candidates studying a course for a Diploma or Higher Certificate but with sufficient experience may also be considered.

• The job nature will involve inspection, preparation of reports and supervision of labour or sub-contractors performing maintenance activities or works.

• Knowledge on application and implementation of temporarily traffic arrangement is a definite asset.

• Candidates with advance experience will be considered for the position of Highway Supervisor.

• Outdoor work, work at height and occasional shift duty due to night work/emergency/inclement weather condition are required.

• Good communication skills in Cantonese and general English.

• Immediate available is preferred.
