HUFF Recruitment are currently supporting a children's residential provider in Greenford who are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior or Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the day-to-day running of a children's residential home.

The role

You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home provides a safe, supportive and consistent environment for children and young people.

You'll be involved in:

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
• Leading and supporting the staff team
• Maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding
• Supporting care plans, risk assessments and reviews
• Managing shifts and ensuring the home operates effectively
• Supporting staff development, supervision and training
• Ensuring the home remains compliant with Ofsted and relevant legislation
• Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous experience within a children's residential setting
• Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker or Team Leader experience
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD is desirable
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential care
• Good understanding of Ofsted standards and Children's Homes Regulations
• Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Level 5 Leadership and Management is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
