Deputy Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. This position requires a strong background in hospitality, excellent team management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Deputy Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Role and Responsibilities:

This is a busy, fast-paced environment, so confidence, efficiency, and a positive attitude are essential.

• Assist the General Manager in daily operational tasks to ensure efficient running of the restaurant
• Supporting all staff, including other management and the kitchen team
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with management to develop new strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and resolving any issues promptly and professionally
• Handling cash management and ensuring accurate record keeping
• Managing stock levels, ordering and daily checks
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance at all times
• Supporting the training and development of both new and existing team members

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
• Experience in bartending or beverage service is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills — approachable, clear, and professional
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Confident using systems and technology to support day-to-day operations
• Weekend availability essential

Hourly pay range includes tips.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
