Deputy Manager

Job Opening: Deputy Manager Accounting & Commercial (Cable Division)

Experience: 4 - 5 years

Compensation: 20 LPA 25 LPA

Age Limit: 25–35 years

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Closure: Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting, plant/project accounting, and ensure timely month-end financial closure for the Cable Division.
• Commercial Governance: Oversee vendor contract evaluations, customer credit management, receivables tracking, and commercial terms verification.
• Working Capital Optimization: Monitor and optimize key working capital drivers including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and inventory valuation/provisions.
• SAP S/4HANA Operations: Leverage SAP S/4HANA (FI & CO modules) for general ledger management, cost center reporting, and seamless financial postings.
• Profitability Insights (COPA): Utilize COPA to generate granular segment-wise, product-wise, and customer-wise revenue and margin insights.
• MIS & Business Reporting: Prepare monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports, plant performance dashboards, and comprehensive budget vs. actual variance analysis.
• Taxation & Compliance: Support compliance for GST returns, TDS submissions, and tax audits in close coordination with corporate tax teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Mandatory).
• Experience: 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting, Commercial Finance, Plant Finance, or Business Finance within a manufacturing environment (Cable, Electrical, Capital Goods, or Process Manufacturing preferred).
