Deputy Manager

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Deputy Manager – Fasteners to join our manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate should have 10–12 years of relevant experience in the fastener industry, with strong hands-on exposure in the development of various types of nuts, bolts and special fastener components, along with expertise in tooling, tool planning, raw-material planning and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of new and customized fasteners, including various types of nuts, bolts, screws and special parts.
• End-to-end item development from drawing/specification to production readiness.
• Tool development, tool design coordination and tool planning for cold forging and related fastener manufacturing processes.
• Planning and coordination for dies, punches, headers, rollers, trimmers and other tooling required for fastener production.
• Selection, planning and procurement coordination of appropriate raw materials/wire rods as per product requirements and specifications.
• Study customer drawings, specifications and standards and develop products accordingly.
• Process planning for new fastener components, including forging, trimming, rolling and other relevant operations.
• Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Quality, Purchase, PPC and Stores for smooth development and production of new items.
• Troubleshooting of tooling, process and dimensional issues during product development and mass production.
• Lead and guide the development/tooling team and ensure timely completion of development projects.
• Improve existing products and processes to achieve better quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Maintain and develop technical documentation related to products, tooling and processes.
• Support management in new product development, cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience in the fasteners industry.
• Must have strong practical experience in development of different types of nuts and bolts.
• Strong exposure to cold forging / cold heading, trimming, rolling and fastener manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of tool development and tool planning.
• Understanding of fastener raw materials, wire rods, grades and material requirements.
• Strong team-handling and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle new product development projects from drawing to production.
• Candidates with experience in special/customized fastener development will be preferred.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
