Deputy Manager - Procurement

Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, spares, consumables and imported items for uninterrupted operations.

Source, evaluate and develop suppliers for domestic and import requirements

Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules and contracts to achieve cost effective purchases

Manage RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, follow-ups and order closures as per procedure.

Coordinate import documentation, shipment tracking, customs clearance and logistics support

Work with user departments, stores, quality and finance to ensure material availability and issue resolution.

Monitor inventory, lead times, supplier performance and statutory/policy compliance

Prepare procurement MIS and support cost reduction, alternate sourcing and vendor development initiatives.
