Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for bulk intermediates, solvents, and specialty chemicals.
• Manage the complete procurement cycle.
• Build and maintain coordination with vendors & internal stakeholders.
• Follow the GMP guidelines.
• Explore the new saving opportunities.
• Implement E Procurement tools.
• Coordinate supplier technical audits.
• Manage contract negotiations covering pricing formulas (linked to feedstock indices like crude, benzene, metal index etc.), credit terms, and supply security clauses.
• Collaborate with R&D and process engineering teams to source new molecules for scale-up and commercialization.
• Partner with logistics to optimize multi-modal chemical transportation (tankers, ISO tanks, bulk containers, hazardous cargo handling).
