Opportunity Overview

Southeastern Medical Consulting is seeking a qualified Dermatologist to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) for an established clinical research facility in Miami.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dermatologist interested in clinical research, innovative therapies, and expanding their professional portfolio while continuing their existing clinical practice.

The selected physician will work alongside an experienced research team and participate in dermatology clinical trials sponsored by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

The Opportunity

As Principal Investigator, you will provide medical oversight of assigned clinical trials while working closely with the research team to ensure patient safety, protocol compliance, and quality study execution.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as Principal Investigator for assigned dermatology clinical trials
• Provide medical oversight of study participants
• Review patient safety and medical information related to the studies
• Ensure compliance with study protocols and applicable research regulations
• Collaborate with research coordinators and the clinical research team
• Participate in sponsor meetings, investigator meetings, and required study training
• Maintain appropriate medical and research oversight throughout each study

Ideal Candidate

• MD or DO specializing in Dermatology
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Strong interest in clinical research
• Excellent clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety
• Previous PI or clinical research experience preferred
• Physicians who are interested in expanding into clinical research are encouraged to inquire

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
