Sahara Smiles Polyclinic (SSP) is a Dubai-based healthcare clinic offering patient-focused dental, dermatology, and aesthetic services. We are seeking qualified, motivated clinicians to support high standards of care and the responsible growth of the clinic’s services.

Role Overview

The dermatologist will assess, diagnose, and manage dermatological conditions while providing appropriate skin consultations and aesthetic treatments within their DHA-authorized scope of practice. The role will contribute to SSP’s skin assessment, medical dermatology, and approved aesthetic treatment services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dermatological consultations, examinations, assessments, and appropriate investigations.
• Diagnose and manage common medical dermatological conditions, including acne, pigmentation disorders, eczema, dermatitis, and other skin conditions within the clinician’s competence.
• Perform comprehensive skin assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• · Provide appropriate cosmetic dermatology consultations and evidence-based recommendations for skin rejuvenation and aesthetic concerns.
• Perform approved aesthetic procedures, such as botulinum toxin or dermal filler treatments, only where the clinician’s licence, privileges, training, and facility approvals permit.
• Explain treatment benefits, limitations, risks, contraindications, alternatives, expected outcomes, and aftercare.
• Recognize cases requiring further investigation, specialist referral, or escalation of care.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical records, consent documentation, treatment photographs where appropriate, and follow-up notes.
• Educate patients on skincare, prevention, treatment adherence, and realistic expectations.
• Coordinate with other qualified clinicians to support integrated care where clinically appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of SSP’s dermatology and aesthetic service offerings, patient education initiatives, and clinical protocols.
• Support appropriate patient follow-up and continuity of care while maintaining ethical and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
• Maintain infection prevention, patient confidentiality, and compliance with applicable DHA and UAE healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Recognized medical degree and appropriate postgraduate dermatology qualifications.
• Valid DHA professional licence or eligibility for the relevant specialist category.
• Clinical experience in medical dermatology and, where applicable, aesthetic dermatology.
• Relevant training and authorization for any aesthetic procedures offered.
• Strong consultation, diagnostic, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Previous UAE clinical experience is a major advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the growth of a multidisciplinary clinic.
