Dermatology Clinical Liaison

Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Liaison to support our patients and providers by ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations within our clinic. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to provide outstanding service to both patients and medical staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer patient phone calls and direct them to the appropriate provider or department.
• Assist patients with prescription refills, coordinating with pharmacies and providers.
• Address patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, appointments, and general dermatology concerns.
• Act as a liaison between patients and providers, ensuring seamless communication and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries.
• Provide administrative support to the clinical team as needed.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical office setting.
