Dermatology Physician Assistant

Full Time/ 4 day work week

Private Dermatology practice seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our practice. This is a full time position with a desirable 4-day work week, offering an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career while maintaining a great work-life balance.

Overview:

The PA will work closely with our dermatology team to provide high quality, patient centered care in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate is personable, clinically confident, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities:

-Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions

-Perform comprehensive skin exams

-Diagnose and manage common medical dermatology conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, and other skin disorders.

-Evaluate suspicious lesions and assist with skin cancer detection and management

-Perform procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy and other treatments within the scope of practice

-Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients regarding diagnosis, medications, procedures and preventative skin care

-Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters

-Collaborate with supervising physicians and other members of the clinical team

-Opportunity for cosmetic dermatology procedures

Schedule: Full time, 4 days per week

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current PA license in CT

NCCPA certification

Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills

Dermatology Experience

Pay: $100,000.00 - $156,000.00 per year
